Welcome to ImmigrationPhysican.com.  Dr. Van Caneghem is a board certified internist whose office is designated by the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) to fulfill the medical requirements of applicants to U.S. permanent residency (Green Cards).

A medical exam is done and all reports are issued in 3 days.  Expedited service is available at an additional cost.

INS Medical Requirements:
Medical requirements for the purpose of obtaining a U.S. permanent residency (Green Card) are as follows:
  • Physical examination*
  • Tuberculosis test*
  • Blood test for HIV and Syphilis*
  • Completion of all forms*

* Included in the $200.00 fee.

Instructions: 

  1. Obtain the form I-693 (Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status).  Do not fill out the form.
  2. Call us to make an appointment for your examination.

What to expect:
You will need a total of 2 visits.  
On your first visit you will receive the medical examination,  the Tuberculosis test and blood work for HIV/Syphilis test.  You will also receive immunization shots if necessary.

When you come back, on your second visit, the doctor will already have your HIV/Syphilis  results from the lab.  He will then examine your Tuberculosis test and if necessary, will order chest X-Rays.
